Girls Left In The Woods Become Archaeologists Out Now
At BC Athens, we believe in the power of books to comfort, inspire, and transform lives. That’s why we launched the Lending Library Project — an ongoing initiative that collects books from the friends and extended community of BC Athens, and donates them to shelters, rehabilitation centers, and institutions across the region.
Each book is a small act of care — a story shared, a new perspective offered, or simply a moment of escape. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we’re able to create small, self-sustaining libraries in spaces where access to reading material is limited.
The first Lending Library was proudly completed at Rewind Foundation, a rehabilitation center whose residents now have access to a curated collection of books they can enjoy at their own pace. Whether it’s fiction, poetry, memoir, or educational material, these books offer a source of joy, reflection, and quiet empowerment.
